• Is your travel included in your packages?

 

For weddings, travel is included in my packages up to 50 miles from YO25. I then charge £0.45p per mile after that. I’m more than happy to travel across the country and beyond to photograph your wedding day, so please do get in touch with any special requests.

• Do we need a pre-wedding/engagement shoot?

​

It is completely up to you! A pre-wedding shoot can be a lovely way to mark your engagement and capture more memories for you to look back on and treasure. It can also be a great way for you to get more comfortable in front of the camera and for us to get to know each other ahead of your big day. An engagement shoot can be added to your wedding package for an additional £195.

• Can we have a second photographer? 

 

Of course you can. If, for example, you are getting ready in separate locations, but you’d like preparation shots of both, then a second photographer is a good idea, as unfortunately I can’t be in two places at once. Some people also simply like the idea of having two photographers there capturing the photographs on their big day. If that’s the case, then please just let me know, and I will organise a second photographer from my network of extremely talented and trusted professional photographer friends to join us on the day. 

 

The cost of a second photographer is approximately £350, but it does depend on the photographer and their rates.

• Your packages are for 5 or 10 hours of coverage, what if we would like you to stay for somewhere in-between?

I'd be delighted to photograph your wedding day for as long as you wish. If neither of my packages suit you, then I offer additional hours at a rate of £125 per hour, so I can tailor my packages and pricing to your specific needs. Just let me know!

• How do I pay for my photography?

​

I require a 25% deposit on booking and then I’m all yours! The outstanding balance is then due 28 days before your wedding day. If you’d like to pay the balance in smaller chunks to help with budgeting, no problem at all, just let me know. 

 

• Do you have insurance?

 

I do indeed. I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. 

 

• What happens if you’re poorly on our wedding day?

 

I would have to be really, really ill not to attend you’re wedding day. But, in the very, very unlikely event that I’m so poorly on your wedding day that I can’t be there, I will do everything I can to call on one of my fabulous photographer friends to step into my shoes. But don’t worry about this, you’ve got enough to stress about, just rest assured I’m extremely reliable!

 

• Do you need a meal? 

 

It is completely up to you! I am more than happy to bring my packed lunch and pick a quiet moment to go and eat my sarnies, but of course wouldn’t say no to being provided with some yummy food. 

 

• We want natural, documentary-style photography, but we’d also like some more formal group shots, is that ok?

 

Absolutely! It is your wedding day and I am more than happy to capture any shots you’d like. Just let me know who you’d like in your group shots and I’ll make sure they happen!

 

• How many photographs will I receive?

 

I never like to put a number on this, as I will simply shoot as many beautiful photographs on the day as I can and then will carefully select and edit the very best photographs to include in your gallery.    

 

• When will we receive our images?

 

For wedding photography, I will send you a sneak peek a few days after your big day, and I will aim to send you your full gallery within 6 weeks, once they’ve been fully and beautifully edited.

• Can we have a wedding album?

 

Of course you can! I love taking photographs and I equally love looking back at them and reliving the memories. A beautiful, exquisitely-made photograph album is the best way to do this and can be kept for years to come and passed down through your family. The prices for wedding albums vary depending on the number of photographs you require etc... but I will work with you and my printing partner to produce the perfect album for you.
